The pipeline and China hydraulic adapter delivering drinking water or pure water should not be made of ordinary carbon steel, because the air compression process would carry moisture, the moistures storaged in the carbon steel pipe could rust the pipeline. But today's advanced air compression machinery will exclude moisture, so ordinary carbon steel is also allowed.

Chemical equipment pipelines usually delivered a variety of corrosive fluids, they were often rinsed using the solvent or water, therefore, the general chemical pipeline material must be stainless steel.

When considering media corrosiveness, pay attention to the relationship between the pipe seal and the fluids. Butadiene-acrylonitrile rubber is safe to the hydraulic oil and many media, so it is largely used in hydraulic system seal. And most of the chemical stainless steel pipe is rigid seal.
