Preparations Before Connecting Welding Adapters

The welding adapter has two docking types, they are accordingly classified into the free-typed adapter and restrained-typed adapter. Some details should pay attention to before welding these China hydraulic adapters.

1. Check the equipment work state, and make ensure stable parameters, flexible adjustment, accurate instrument data, normal airflow in welding before jointing welding adapters.

2. The Butt joints have the min gap of 1 mm ~ 2 mm, the unfitness of butt weld should no more than 1 mm, the fitting gap of the corner connector is not greater than 1.0 mm.

3. Clean up both sides of the welding area where no less than 20mm with a stainless steel wire brush before welding, so to remove oxide film and dirt on the surface.

4. The cleaned groove if not timely welded, should be affixed with water-free tape or other preventive measures.

5. When the ambient temperature is lower than 5 ℃, relative humidity less than 85%, preheating the welding area within 30mm on the both sides, and the preheating temperature is of 50 ℃ ± 10 ℃.

6. When using multi-layer welding, the thickness of each bead shall not be greater than 4 mm, in order to facilitate the escape of hydrogen bubbles.

7. Before carrying out multi-layer welding, the layers should be cleaned up with a stainless steel wire brush, and confirm that there is no defects left before welding the next layer. The welding joints in each layer should be staggered. The interlayer temperature for steel parts is not greater than 150 ℃, while for aluminum parts is less than 40 ℃.
