PTFE Tape or Sealant Adhesive Tape, Which One Is Better to Seal the Brass Adapter?
Time：2016-06-14 Author:Sealant adhesive tape is the better. Due to the brass adapter can not be sealed by ptfe tape, which may cause oil leakage. Evenmore, ptfe tape may pollute the oil when it is sucked into oil, also will block the valve or port. In a word, it isn't recommended for workers with PTFE tape to seal hydraulic brass adapters.
